A no-cost winter tonic will be at the Garden Club of Harvard’s Bloom N Art opening reception Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Volunteers Hall.
On 17, 18 and 19 of March. This was a wonderful community collaboration of the Library, the Bromfield School and the Garden Club. Kudos to Shirley Boudreau, who brought her suggestion to fruition last year, and further grew the program.
The third edition of Bloom N Art, started in 2017 by Shirley Boudreau was once again an astounding success.
For three days in March the people of Harvard admired art and flowers in the beautiful Volunteers Hall of the library.
What a year it was! The Covid-19 pandemic hit us as we were getting ready for the Bloom N Art exhibition.
On Thursday, March 12, 2020, a small group of Garden Club members met at the Harvard General Store to discuss the possibility of cancelling it all together.
The 2021 Bloom N Art went online on April 18, all virtual, with the 2021 exhibit and much more. We were delighted to have over 500 unique visitors to the website in the first week after going life!
In 2022, Bloom n Art returned to an in-person exhibit made possible through the generosity of Fivesparks after two long years of the pandemic.

Bloom N Art 2023 was held at Fivesparks on Saturday March 25 and Sunday March 26.
More than 350 people came to see the artwork and smell the flowers.
